Sheryl underwood is a comedian, television host, and actor from the US. She's best known for her part as the Talk's co-host on the daytime. She was born and brought up within Little Rock. Sheryl comes out of a very troubled background. She was a lot of her youth looking after Frankie. Frankie suffered from an illness called polio. As she grew older she had numerous arguments with her mum. Sheryl states that in the past, her mother would stab her father for being too close with her. Following her college graduation Sheryl was a soldier in the military. However her interest lay in comedy. She was the first woman to win the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. Her first TV work in 1992 by appearing as a frequently performing comedian on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She hosted the show in 2000. the show Oh Drama! Then in 2011, she started participating in The Talk as co-host. Additionally, she's played fictional roles in series such as Bulworth Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
